Dictionary of terms
Email - an electronic mail account allowing for the exchange of correspondence via electronic mails.
UUID - Universally Unique IDentifier.
PESEL - polish personal identity number
Code QR - a graphical form of recording various types of data.
Maturity certificate - a document containing the results of the matriculation examination.
Maturity examination annexes - a document containing corrected or additional results of the matriculation examination.
First-cycle studies - the form of education for which candidates with a maturity examination certificate are admitted, ending with obtaining the first degree qualifications.
Second-cycle studies - form of education for which candidates with at least first-cycle qualifications are admitted, ending with obtaining second-cycle qualifications.
Doctoral School - form of education preparing to obtain a doctoral degree.
Postgraduate studies - form of education, intended for candidates with at least first degree qualifications. To start postgraduate studies, you must have an undergraduate, engineering or graduate degree.
Student's number - identification number at the University. Each of the newly admitted Students receive this number after being entered on the list of students.
Student - a person studying at higher education institution.
Doctorate - a person writing a doctoral dissertation.
